On the election of The Student Board
Election of the Student Board
The Student Board is the Student Democracy's highest body between each Student Parliament. They're responsible for the daily operation of the Student Democracy and shall follow up decisions adopted by the Student Parliament. The Student Board is prepares the case papers for the Student Parliament. The Student Board consists of 3 members, one leader and two AU members. The Student Board also has its own organizational secretary.
The leader is strategically responsible, and represents the NMBU students towards the top management at the university and externally. The Board generaly works closesly with the university administration, employees and leaders, and other student leaders, both within and outside the organization, and (among other things) work on educational policy issues. They also work to ensure good training and information flow internally in the student democracy.
All members of the Student Board are elected through an electronic election (Student Election) in the spring, and enter their role officially on July 1st. The position is remunerated.
