Under The student election in the spring is chosen two members and one leader of the Student Parliament's Work Committee, as well as female representatives to the Faculty Boards (FS) at each faculty (one fixed og one item for each faculty) and toUniversity Board (US) (here, too, one fixed and one variable is chosen). Male representatives to the Faculty and University Boards are elected belowThe student election in the autumn.
The electronic ballot boxes open at 12:00 on Wednesday 24 April.
The deadline for voting is 23:59 Thursday 2 May.
The most efficient way to voice your opinion and make change, is to vote for good student candidates to represent you on the faculty and university level.

On the election of The Student Board
Election of the Student Board
The Student Board is the Student Democracy's highest body between each Student Parliament. They're responsible for the daily operation of the Student Democracy and shall follow up decisions adopted by the Student Parliament. The Student Board is prepares the case papers for the Student Parliament. The Student Board consists of 3 members, one leader and two AU members. The 3 members constitute themselves internally, and hold in their positions full time. The Student Board is a collegial body, which means that all three members are equal members of the board. The Student Board also has its own organizational secretary.
The leader is strategically responsible, and represents the NMBU students towards the top management at the university and externally. The Board generaly works closesly with the university administration, employees and leaders, and other student leaders, both within and outside the organization, and (among other things) work on educational policy issues. They also work to ensure good training and information flow internally in the student democracy.
All members of the Student Board are elected through an electronic election (Student Election) in the spring, and enter their role officially on July 1st. The position is remunerated.

On the election of representatives to US and FS
Election of representatives to the University Board
Two student representatives are elected, one of each legal gender, with personal representation on the University Board (US). These are chosen by electronic ballot, where all semester-registered students have the right to vote. The ballot box election takes place each year in April/May and November. The term of office for those elected is 1 year, and lasts from 01.07. - 30.06 for the spring election, and 01.01. - 31.12 for the autumn election.

Election of representatives to the Faculty Boards
Two student representatives are elected, with personal representation for the seven Faculty Boards (FS). These are chosen by electronic ballot, where all semester-registered students at the relevant faculty have the right to vote. A student only has the right to vote in one faculty board election. Ballot elections take place each year in April/May for and November. The term of office for those elected is one (1) year, and lasts from 01.07 to 30.06 for the spring election, and 01.01 - 31.12 for the autumn election.
