The Living Environment Committee (BMU) is a meeting place for SiÅs and their tenants. BMU contributes to a good living environment and good student welfare in the SiÅs apartments.

BMU shall be a liaison between the tenant and SiÅs. They have a meeting of approx. twice per semester where they submit proposals for projects to the Home Improvement Committee for student housing. Complaints about the living environment shall be submitted to the Living Environment Committee through shop stewards or SiÅs. There may be complaints that the neighbor is making noise, complaints about keeping dogs, smoking and more. SiÅs will try to resolve complaints itself, before they are eventually submitted to the Living Environment Committee.
