The "Open Association" certification is a certification designed to highlight and promote the associations and organisations here at NMBU that organise activities that are open to all students and are open for all students to join throughout the semester. The purpose of the "Open Association" certification is to foster an inclusive and diverse student environment. The arrangement aims to encourage a greater feeling of community, integration, and participation across the campus.

 

By being certified as an "Open Association", associations and organisations commit to being accessible and inclusive to all students by adhering to the certification requirements. This ensures that all students at NMBU, regardless of background or field of study, can participate in student associations as an important part of the social and academic community on campus.

All associations and organisations granted open association status must reapply each fall to keep their status. The document to the right provides an overview of the certification criteria, and the benefits associated with it.
