Student Election Spring 2023
During the Spring Student Election, the NMBU students will elect
- One leader of the Student Board
- Two members of the Student Board
- One permanent female representative to the University Board (and one sub)
- One permanent female representative to the Faculty Board at each of the seven faculties (and one sin)
All students at NMBU can vote for the candidates for the Student Board and the University Board.
For the election of a female representative to the Faculty Boards, you can only vote between candidates at your own faculty.

It is my goal that fewer students shall suffer from loneliness or feeling of exclusion, and I will work to see the university go further than anyone else in sustainability-issues.

Camila Noel Moreno
I am outgoing and bubbly, highly devoted, and trustworthy. I am very motivated to be a clear student voice and represent us on matters that affect our everyday life as students.

Louise Olsen Methlie Wedaa
BIOVIT has a great potential and is an important faculty for the future. I would like to help ensure that the studies get even better adapted to business life and the need we students have for the future in business. We are the workers of the future!
My name is Malin Neteland. I am studying animal science 1. Year master. I am concerned with student well-being, future-oriented studies and subjects and the possibility and arrangement for internships and exchanges. Furthermore, I am concerned that we should solve the climate crisis while at the same time producing enough food
Birgitte Mathisen Brønnick
Birgitte, 22 years old from Stavanger. I am studying bioeconomy in the first year, and economics and administration. Previous experiences at NMBU include Globalis, Spire Ås, NU, and student ambassador work. I want to promote the voice of the students. Particularly important topics are the learning environment, subject quality and study layout.
Solveig Anna Blindheim Thinks
I am a curious and highly engaged economics student who, through my participation in Rethinking Economics and other activities, has a strong desire to contribute to a fair faculty governance.
Ida Sauro Høimyr
I want to pass on the students' wishes and needs to improve the learning environment and study quality at KBM, as well as prioritize the well-being of students for the best possible development of the faculty
Sigrid Lyslo Wilhelmsen
Through other positions in the student democracy and elsewhere at Agrarmetropolen, I have acquired good insight and experience with board and organizational work. I know these are experiences that will be nice to have as a student representative. I want to continue the work to improve interdisciplinary cooperation within the faculty, and work to ensure that the faculty facilitates more practice during the study period.
Idunn Saltnes Skjerdingstad
My name is Idunn and I’m studying landscape architecture in my fourth year. I want to prioritize students’ belonging to campus and their study, and ensure that all students are heard in the faculty meetings. I want to work for a better flow of information between the students and the faculty, ensuring an openness between them.
Hello! I study environmental science and I am passionate about all students being included and feeling a sense of belonging and being prioritized. I know that I can represent the students at the faculty in a good way towards the management. I know the faculty well and have gained a good overview of the students in all fields of study when I was head of “Buddy-Week”. Vote for me to secure a fair and strong female representative to the faculty board at MINA!
My name is Mathilde and I am on my third year of Environmental Science. I would like to work for a greater focus on sustainability, education quality and the students well being. My earlier experience with positions like Student Counil Leader and Student Parliment Representative have given me a greater understanding of how NMBU as an organization is built up and how the Student Democracy works.
Amanda Seeger Halvorsen
My name is Amanda Seeger Halvorsen, and I am in my second year of an integrated master’s program in Applied Robotics. During my two years at NMBU, I have been involved in several voluntary positions in the student democracy, as well as starting SheVING. I want to ensure that the students who graduate form our university are as qualified and prepared as possible before entering employment, and that the student voice is included in all decisions that affect us

Hello🌸 My name is Hannah and I am in my 3rd year of veterinary studies. I’ve been active in the student union called VSF and was «Faddersjef» for VET in 2021. As a member of the Faculty Board, I want to continue working for the students' well-being at the veterinary college
My name is Kristine and I'm in the fourth year of veterinary medicine. I have a great enthusiasm to our faculty aiming to be the best as possible for both the students and employers. I want to ensure that the students at the VET faculty are seen and heard during the further work on the development of our faculty at NMBU.
My experience as a Student parliament representative and student council leader has given me a strong fondness for student politics and a broad network in the student democracy, which I would like to take with me to the Faculty Board should I elected. As a student representative I want to make sure that the students are represented in the Faculty Board's work and ensure that our views and struggles are well known among the rest of the faculty board.
